Located on the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula, the District Council of Elliston Covers an area of 669,300 Hectares and includes the townships of Elliston and Lock, and smaller towns of Port Kenny, Venus Bay, Bramfield, Sheringa, Tooligie and Murdinga.
Council's Customer Service Centre is located in Elliston; one of the main townships on the Flinders Highway between Port Lincoln and Streaky Bay.

Public Question Time Procedure and Application
At its November 2016 meeting, council resolved to inplement a Public Question Time Procedure and Application fo all future Council meetings. More information can be found HERE.
Storm Damage Update
The Elliston Jetty remains closed but following extensive clean up by Council staff the Car park and BBQ areas have now been reopened!
Waterloo Bay boat ramp in Elliston will be closed from today until approximately Monday 31st October, while Council commence their repairs for the damage sustained following the severe storm last month.
The Department of Transport and Infrastructure has been to Elliston to assess the historic Elliston Jetty where they have
checked for any minor or major damage that will need to be repaired.
The State Government have released a statement announcing a share of $3.5 million will be going to the jetty repairs!
Outdoor staff have been busy continuing clean-up and repair work around the District.
This will be an ongoing process and we thank the community for the patience and cooperation during the last few weeks.
